First Trip to the Zoo

I took the day off on Tuesday to go to the Oakland Zoo with my Mom's group. There were about 8 of us and everyone's children. The kids ranged in age from 6 mo. on..It was a lot of fun. The nice things about seeing older children is a) it makes me appreciate where D is at now (not mobile) and b) makes me look forward to things ahead (being more interactive with kids, more independent). The ladies are really nice, and I am super glad I met them and found the group. I went out with them the other week for drinks (minus the little ones) and it was nice to get to know them a bit. D loves being out in the sunshine, enjoying the fresh air.. and of course spending a day with Mommy! Here are some pictures from our day at the zoo!
