The BIG 30..

I have not blogged in a bit, I need to upload pictures and haven't had the chance. Life has been busy, and crazy like life can be. I will say my 30th birthday was not what I expected it to be. I think I built it up to be this HUGE event, not so much. It was just another birthday. The bigger picture is that a decade is over, and a new one begins. I am hoping this new decade will be slower than the last. I think the 20's went by so fast, but then I think of all I did in my 20's and I feel like I accomplished a lot.

A year ago while on BART I typed out a "bucket list" on my iphone. This decade I really want to focus on scratching a few of these off :) I will add some too over time I think and keep it current so I can keep track of my progress :)

One of those moments...

We had a good weekend. Darrian had another birthday party Sat. for a very special 3 year old. (I will do one post with our birthday party visit pictures next week) He had lots of fun, and it basically put him to sleep the rest of the day when we got home. Sunday I got to sleep in, spend some time with my boys, then off to the spa with Devyn. I think it was a great way to kick off my last few days of being in my 20's.

When I came home I watched the Grammy show, it is the one award show I really look forward to every year. I love music, the words, the melody/beat. I love the artistic impression in a performance. I especially love when I am watching something live and thinking WOW, and then you realize everyone is thinking WOW too. Pink had one of those moments last night. I really like her, a woman who sticks to her guns and calls the shots. Her performance was the highlight of the night to me.

Here it is in case you didn't see it. I love the lyrics of the song too. Everything about it.
