Here are my mobile uploads over the past two weeks. This weekend we had a good weekend. I got to go out with the girls on friday night after the boys were in bed. Went to dinner with Sol and Kelly, and got a few drinks. Saturday Darrian had a birthday party at his best friend from school Sam's house. It was a lot of fun, but we were ther for most of the day. Darrian had so much fun playing with Sam, I am sad his school is ending this week and he won't get to see Sam on a regular basis. Sunday I had a groupon to take my Mom to brunch for Mother's Day gift. We went to church then to the city after. It turned out to be a great day. We had brunch then walked around the ferry building, shopped some, and got some cocktails at Slanted Door. There were lots of people for bay to breakers, so good people watching.
Miles has started rocking on all fours, and is saying Mum Mum Mum Mum.. not sure if that counts as a first word? But the rocking on all fours scares me! I am not ready for that. Quincy is not far behind. EEK.

I thought this would be fun to see. Here are all the boys around the same age. Darrian is on the top, Quincy on right, and Miles left. I think they all have simular or the same eyes. I think Miles looks a lot like Darrian.. but I think they all are unique. What do you think??

This is a collage of my mobile pictures over the past month.. a whole lot of cuteness going on. Some of the pictures are taken at picnics in Napa, and Darrian at his school Easter play, Darrian and I went on a Mom and son adventure to ride Bart and to breakfast, Darrian playing air hockey when I took him to Pump It Up on my vacation, and then at the Discovery Museum in Sausalito on my vacation, and lots of smiles in between.
I am trying out a new program for collage we will see if it works.

4 months old..
At the 4 month appointment they were:
Miles: 17 lbs 5 oz , 26 3/4" tall
Quincy: 15 lbs 5.5oz, 25 1/2" tall
Miles who has been bigger since he was born is still holding his spot.
Miles is pretty happy go lucky guy, smiles lots, content playing on his own, or in the swing. He chuckles out loud and I can't help but laugh myself, he loves the bath. Still doesn't really love the carseat but getting better. He is teething, and pushing himself all over the room, and onto all fours.
Quincy is the joker guy, he cracks me up. He does this fake cough when people are too close, he has this really sweet smile, and he loves his jumper. He still has his praying hands, he also gets up on all four, turns over, loves to roll. He likes to talk, blow bubbles, and stick his tongue out with a little smirk on his face.
First pictures are of Miles...

Quincy..

They usually always hold hands when they are next to each other.. Quincy on the left and Miles on the right.
Easter Fun..

Ivy's 8th Birthday
Ivy turned 8 years old this past weekend. 8 years. {SIGH} I think it seems like just yesterday Julie was pregnant with her and I was planning my wedding. I know I say time goes by so fast too often, but it really does. Ivy is such a special little girl. I love her lots and I love watching who she is becoming. She is pretty carefree, and the kind of girl who looks on the positive sides of most things and people. She is caring, and has a cute quirky sense of humor. I see her evolving and can picture the young lady she is becoming, she is headed on the right path. I guess the only good thing about seeing them get older, is getting to see who they become.
Quincy and his Godsister's Malia and Lily. Doesn't Lily look just like Julie here? Total mini-me.
This girl is turning double digits this year, which she reminded me of several times during Ivy's party. I think she likes to see me cringe :). She is always asking about the babies, doting on them, and she asked to hold Quincy. She was in the back room with me when I was changing them into PJs and she tells me "Ivy was born in the morning." I told her I know I remember :). She proceeded to tell me she was really happy to have a little sister, because she didn't have a younger sibling at the time. I told her I know one of my favorite memories is soon after Ivy was born, and she was taking a nap and woke up and Malia went running down the hall yelling "Don't worry Ivy I'm coming!!". That was just yesterday right?? geesh.
Such a little girl now.
Ivy has always given the best reactions when opening presents, she makes each one feel like it is THE best gift. I think that's a talent.

"I am grateful to have been loved and to be loved now and to be able to
love, because that liberates. Love liberates. It doesn't just
hold—that's ego. Love liberates. It doesn't bind. Love says, 'I love
you. I love you if you're in China. I love you if you're across town. I
love you if you're in Harlem. I love you. I would like to be near you.
I'd like to have your arms around me. I'd like to hear your voice in my
ear. But that's not possible now, so I love you. Go.'" — Dr. Maya
Angelou
"If a human being dreams a great dream, dares to love somebody; if a
human being dares to be Martin King, or Mahatma Gandhi, or Mother
Theresa, or Malcolm X; if a human being dares to be bigger than the
condition into which she or he was born—it means so can you. And so you
can try to stretch, stretch, stretch yourself so you can internalize, 'Homo sum, humani nil a me alienum puto. I am a human being, nothing human can be alien to me.' That's one thing I'm learning." — Dr. Maya Angelou
